The AID will also help you find local services and supports available in your community, whether you are looking for an autism-friendly dentist, a summer camp, a speech-language pathologist or a community group. Resources can be searched by postal code or city.

Reliable, local and relevant to you

The AID houses over 1,000 links to materials collected by ACT's Information staff, including books, videos, lists of service providers, recreational activities and more. There is a lot more we will be capturing and we look forward to organizations, professionals and parents from across B.C. contributing information that is reliable, local and relevant to individuals with developmental disabilities across the lifespan.

You can easily share and send interesting resources to your friends and family. At the top of each record are links to email, share on Facebook or on Twitter. Raise awareness of autism issues by sharing AID resources with your friends and family.

Contribute to the depth and breadth of the database

ACT staff rely on all of our users to help us build the AID as a trusted source. If you know of a service or support that could help families in your community, please submit it to ACT staff for review.
