Free Public Evening Session:Understanding Aggression in Youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities【Vancouver BC】

A talk by Dr. Lauren Charlot, is being co-sponsored by ACT and the Developmental Disorders Program, UBC's Department of Psychiatry. The lecture, at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Vancouver, is part of the 'Health and Wellbeing in Children, Youth and Adults with Developmental Disabilities Conference'. Dr. Charlot is a Developmental Psychologist who has been working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and severe co-occurring psychiatric disorders and challenging behaviors for over 25 years.

Currently, Dr. Charlot's team is developing a pilot program that will include comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluation and consultation, and a "Medical Home" for adolescents and adults with IDD and psychiatric disorders.
